The mission office party! We had a great breakfast then exchanged white elephant gifts. The senior couples are all so nice. I am glad they include us. We are in an interesting position. Since we are not serving as an office missionary person or a visitor center missionary, we really don’t get to associate with the other senior couples as much as we would like to. So I am happy when they include us and make us feel so welcome.

After the office party we drove to Chillicothe to meet and have lunch with a young lady we had visited with a few weeks earlier. She is waiting on permission to be baptized. We also had some Christmas presents that were sent to the mission home that needed to be delivered to the missionaries serving in Gallatin. We were in luck, the missionaries happened to be in Chillicothe, so we met them too and bought them lunch, what’s wrong with having had two lunches!
Chillicothe is a fun little city. They are famous for being the home of “Sliced Bread” and for the many murals that are painted on the buildings. I don’t know the name of the artist who did all of the murals, but they are amazing! Well worth seeing! We took a picture of most of them, but not all.
